Store content

The editor for store contents also contains all basic editor components along with four new options:

  • The create variant button (Fig.1, 1)
  • The description (Fig.1, 2)
  • The image section (Fig.1, 3)
  • The order code section (Fig.1, 4)

The ‘create variant’ button (Fig.1, 1) is used for creating variants of your product, e.g. if it’s the same product but in different colours.

Note: The first Time a new variant is created you have to re-enter the order code for the variant as the old main order code will be deleted. That’s the case, because the old main product now serves as a grouping element for the variants within the store’s structure.

The description (Fig.1, 2) is used whenever the detail view of the product is shown. The image section (Fig.1, 3) can be used to display from one up to many images of your product in different sizes or point of views and so on. The order code section (Fig.1, 4) can be used to enter the order code of the product.

Editing the summary

Editing the summary of a shop product is the same as with any other content. See: Basic editor components.

Editing the description

Editing the description of a product is quite similar to editing the summary of any content.

  • Open the description section by using the expand button
  • Use the edit button to open the rich text editor in a new popup
  • Use the rich text editor for editing the description
  • After editing the description, save it.

And that’s it, your description is done.

Adding an image group

To add a new product image group click on the new image button in the toolbar at the top of the tab. For more information, see: adding an image group.

Creating a variant

Creating a variant of a store article can be useful if you have a product that e.g. comes in different colours or sizes. To create a new variant use the "create variant" button (Fig.1, 1)located in the top bar of the tab to open the input mask. Enter the variant's name and its order code to finish creating the variant. In any other aspect, editing a store product's variant works the same way like editing the main product.

Note: The first time you create a variant, the main order code will be deleted. That’s the case, because the old main product now serves as a grouping element for the variants within the store’s structure.
