If you would like to create, edit or delete a permission, select ‘permissions overview’ from the ‘users and rights’ palette to open the permissions overview tab.
Like many other overview tabs, the permissions overview tab can be divided into three sections:
To create a new permission, use the “create a new permission” button located in the permissions overview tab’s toolbar to open the 'create a new permission' input mask. Enter a name for the new permission and click on the input mask’s 'create' button to finish creating your permission.
To delete a group use the delete button
next to the permission's name to delete it.
Note: A deleted permission cannot be restored. Use this feature with caution.
When you have created a permission you can start editing the permission. To do so, use the edit button on the right side of the permission you would like to edit.
Editing a permission’s name or its description is quite simple: select the name field or the description field. Enter a name or the description. After you have finished filling in the description or the name use the save button to save your changes.
To create or edit a permission’s command matcher, expand the command matcher section
by using the ‘expand section’ button
.
The command matcher section contains:
To create a new command matcher, use the ‘create’ button to open the input mask for creating a new command matcher (Fig.4). After having filled in the necessary information, use the input mask’s ‘create’ button to finish creating your command matcher. To edit an existing command matcher, use the ‘edit’ button to open the ‘edit command matcher’ mask (Fig.5).
After having done all necessary changes, use the input mask’s ‘save’ button to apply your changes.
