
To each of the four higher administrative elements (users, roles, groups, permissions) you can assign elements from the other three categories (e.g. to a user you can assign roles, groups and permissions).
To assign roles or to remove roles open the roles section by using the ‘expand section’ button .
Afterwards a dropdown will open which shows the assigned roles on the left side (Fig.8.3, 1) and the available roles (Fig. 8.3, 2) on the right side. Now you can assign roles by:
Removing roles works the same way just in the other direction (drag the role from field 1 (Fig.1, 1) into field 2 (Fig. 1, 2) or just double-click on it while it is in field 1 (Fig.1, 1)).
